At Ice Air, we believe in the transformative power of the arts to build stronger, more inclusive communities. That’s why we were proud to sponsor the People’s Theatre Project’s 15th Anniversary Gala, held on June 6 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.
The People’s Theatre Project (PTP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting immigrant artists and youth through theater. Their mission is to create a more just and equitable world by amplifying voices often unheard in mainstream narratives. Over the past 15 years, PTP has engaged thousands in the Washington Heights and Inwood neighborhoods, fostering community dialogue and social change through the arts.
The gala was a vibrant celebration of PTP’s impact, featuring performances by local artists, a seated dinner, and recognition of honorees who have significantly contributed to community development and the arts. Among the honorees was David Dishy, CEO of LMXD, acknowledged for his commitment to creating innovative mixed-income and mixed-use communities .
Ice Air’s sponsorship reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that align with our values of community engagement and social responsibility. By investing in initiatives like PTP’s gala, we aim to contribute to the cultural vitality and resilience of the communities we serve.
“Supporting the People’s Theatre Project is more than a sponsorship; it’s an investment in the voices and stories that shape our communities. We’re honored to be part of this milestone celebration.”
