Project Description
Pearl House, located at 160 Water Street in Manhattan’s Financial District, is a 29-story residential conversion that transformed a midcentury office tower into 588 modern rental apartments. The project included adding three new floors above the original 24-story building, increasing the total square footage to 525,000. Designed by Gensler and developed by Vanbarton Group, this adaptive reuse project successfully repurposed a classic commercial structure into a vibrant living community.
