Located at 96 Saint Edwards Street in Brooklyn, NY, this 11-story building is a pioneering example of affordable, supportive housing. Developed through a collaboration between Slate Property Group and Westhab Inc., and designed by Aufgang Architects, it provides 105 units for vulnerable New Yorkers, including the formerly homeless, survivors of domestic violence, and those with disabilities. The building not only meets but exceeds environmental standards, incorporating innovative all-electric HVAC systems to align with New York's sustainability goals. With a focus on dignity, efficiency, and resilience, the building is a model of affordable housing that combines thoughtful design, energy performance, and long-term operational goals, offering a stable and supportive home for its residents.
