Designed for retrofit and new-construction projects where quiet, compact, high-performance systems are required, the iCool XC™ blends a low-profile, furniture-grade finish with advanced inverter heat-pump technology and R-32 refrigerant. Ice Air’s product literature and technical submittals note up to ~25% greater efficiency compared with legacy packaged room systems, strong low-ambient performance for cold climates, simplified installation (two small wall penetrations), wireless app control and low noise operation — features the company will demonstrate and discuss at the Expo.
Also on display will be Ice Air’s RSXC cold-climate Packaged Terminal Heat Pump (PTHP). Designed for new-construction and replacement applications, the RSXC series (models RSXC09, RSXC13 and RSXC18) delivers dependable heating down to –5°F with strong low-ambient performance and attractive efficiency metrics (HSPF up to 9.6 and COP/heating figures that vary by model), making it a practical choice for multifamily, hospitality and institutional projects in colder regions. The RSXC offers optional electric-heat backup, leverages Ice Air’s advanced variable-refrigerant heat-pump technology, and uses R-32 refrigerant. Full product data, submittals, and BIM files are available from Ice Air.
“At a time when building owners and designers are under new pressures to electrify and decarbonize, practical, cost-effective solutions matter,” said Tom Glass, Sales & Marketing Director, Ice Air. “We’re looking forward to showing how the iCool XC™ delivers All Electric, All Climate Comfort™ — cutting emissions while protecting building operating budgets.”
Ice Air’s presence at the Room Heat Pump Expo will include product demonstrations, specification support discussions, and one-on-one technical briefings for architects, engineers and building operators who want to evaluate electrified, room-level heating and cooling strategies. The event’s program (exhibit floor, short technical programming, and networking reception) is designed to enable manufacturers and practitioners to compare solutions and discuss incentives, phasing and practical deployment in multifamily, hospitality and institutional buildings.
“It’s a who’s who in heat pump technologies that will be on the floor,” Glass adds, “and professionals can see for themselves the difference in Ice Air technology and performance.”
