Ice Air, a U.S.-based manufacturer of energy-efficient HVAC systems, is proud to announce its partnership with Waldrop Plumbing-Heating-Air on a food drive for their local South Carolina community.
Serving the following food banks, the joint initiative between the two neighboring companies seeks to bring comfort to those in need this holiday season:
- The Bridge – Spartanburg
- Harvest Hope – Greenville
- Greer Soup Kitchen – Greer
“It’s difficult to understand, but a simple act of sharing food can have a profound impact on someone’s life,” says Jason Dowdy, Chief Operating Officer at Ice Air. “Since Ice Air is new to the neighborhood, what better way to announce ourselves than doing the ‘welcome to the neighborhood’ in reverse by giving to people who need it.”
Dropoffs of food items include non-perishable staples like canned goods (soups, vegetables, fruit, and meats), pasta, rice, beans, and peanut butter. Other common donations being accepted are breakfast items like cereal and oatmeal, as well as shelf-stable products such as jelly, cooking oil, and basic spices.
“Ice Air is in the same building as Waldrop, so it made perfect sense to partner with them for this worthy cause,” says Jamie Zeller, PHR, Human Resources Manager for Ice Air.
Donations are being accepted through December 12, 2025 at Ice Air (796 Duncan Reidville Road, Duncan, SC) and at Waldrop (790 Duncan Reidville Rd, Duncan, SC).
