Ric Nadel is the Founder, Owner, and CEO of Ice Air, LLC, a company specializing in the development, sale, and distribution of high-performance HVAC systems. Ric founded Ice Air in 2003 with Mo Siegel and completed the purchase of Mr. Siegel’s interest in 2021.
Ice Air specializes in the development, sale, and distribution of high-performance HVAC systems largely for high rise residential developments, hotels and colleges.
Ric as Co-CEO and now CEO has primary responsibility for corporate strategy as well as fostering and maintaining many of the major client relationships. Ric and his family also have a close personal relationship with Ice Air’s major vendor in China.
Prior to founding Ice Air, Mr. Nadel led his family’s specialist packaging business through a robust growth phase with the introduction of packaging products for the healthcare and cosmetic industries. In 2001, the company was sold to a private equity firm in a very successful transaction for the Nadel family.
Ric is a loving father, husband and son who treasures his family and close personal relationships. Dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle, Ric is a committed triathlete and endurance athlete.
Mr. Nadel received his BS degree from Babson College majoring in entrepreneurial studies and management.
Tom Glass
Tom is responsible for planning and executing sales and marketing strategies, working with and supporting Ice Air’s sales representatives and customers. Prior to his employment at Ice Air, Tom was a Branch Manager for Red Bull energy drinks. Tom has a BS in Business Marketing from the State University of New York at Oswego and an AS degree in Business Administration from Dutchess Community College.
Anthony Gili
Anthony has direct responsibility for all new construction and major retrofit project management activities including construction plan reviews; developing and evaluating standard and custom equipment solutions to meet customer requirements; supporting mechanical contractors, specifying architects and engineers, construction managers and developers; detailing cost estimates; coordinating project schedules and logistics and starting up and closing out each project. Prior to joining Ice Air, Anthony owned a trucking and logistics company. He enjoys coaching his children’s basketball teams and restoring vintage furniture.
Jason Dowdy
Jason Dowdy is the General Manager for the company’s new plant being built in Spartanburg, South Carolina with responsibility for executing strategic initiatives, streamlining operations, and driving profitability. He is responsible for facility setup, including site selection, equipment acquisition, and workforce development, as well as securing government incentives and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Ice Air, Dowdy was Chief Operating Officer for House of Design Robotics.
Mahfuz Imam
Mahfuz Imam brings more than 25 years of hands-on engineering leadership experience across the HVAC and controls industries, with a track record of innovation, cross-functional team development, and quality-first implementation. As Director of Engineering, Imam will lead Ice Air’s product development, testing, and systems integration initiatives—strengthening the company’s ability to deliver industry-leading solutions that support decarbonization, electrification, and Local Law 97 (LL97) compliance for multifamily and commercial buildings.
Imam’s prior roles include Director of Application Engineering at Johnson Controls, where he expanded market share in the air distribution sector with customized and special-order products, and Senior Manager of Test Engineering at Trane Technologies, where he oversaw advanced residential HVAC labs and reduced testing time and cost through innovation.
Tamer Bou Matar
Tamer is responsible for supporting the design and specification process with engineers, architects and energy consultants.

John Weber
John is dedicated to expanding Ice Air’s continued growth by reaching out to strategic partners across the United States. Born, raised and educated in Florida, John graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Business Adminstration, Finance. His 20 years HVAC experience with industry leaders such as Carrier, York, Trane, and Florida Air Distributors includes Distribution, Sales Management and Business Development. John, his wife Alea and their combined family of five children reside in Wellington, Florida.
Louis Pfundstein
Pfundstein has been working as a full-time estimator since 2021. In his current role, he manages the cost estimation process for projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bids by overseeing the preparation of cost estimates, managing bid teams, and collaborating with stakeholders. In addition to his estimating responsibilities, Pfundstein also supports the company’s sales strategy through sales analytics and data management, providing insights that help drive informed business decisions.
